ABOUT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FROM VELKÉ KARLOVICE - MILOŇOV
The Elementary school model represents a model of an old school which was located in the village Velké Karlovice, Czech Republic. The actual building no longer exists. Its replica is located in the open-air museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The original school was built in 1888 and it was paid by a local businessman, a glass-factory owner Salomon Reich. Its official name was „The Jubilee National School of Emperor Franz Josef I.“
During your visit to the Walachian Village in the open-air museum, you can see the school building with its herb- and vegetable garden, and you can go inside to see the school´s classroom, teacher´s office and listen to the guide´s description of what teaching was like in the old days.
You can build either the model with pre-made textures or create your own colorful design.
